Confidential: Discover the 15 finalists of the Blend Startup Contest

The BlendWebMix conference will open its doors on October 29th and 30th in Lyon. Here are the 15 finalists of the Blend Startup Contest.

With one month to go before BlendWebMix, the organizers (La Cuisine Du Web, the University of Lyon and the Edit Cluster) announce the 15 startups selected from over 80 applications to participate in the 2nd edition of the Blend Startup Contest.

They will be evaluated by a jury of fifteen investors including Jean-David Chamboredon (Isai), Marie Ekeland (Elaia Partners), Jérémy Uzan (Alven Capital Partners) and Jérome Masurel (50 Partners). The winning start-up will be offered €3,000 of support by BDO and €5,000 of SEO services by Cybercité.

Upfluence Weeleo : The first complete French mobile back-end that allows you to easily manage and administer mobile applications in response to the new issues of mobile media (formats, analytics, mobile marketing, etc.). Available in SaaS for smaller companies or in MEAP for large accounts, these tools are mainly used by developers or marketers.


Book Weather is a 100% mobile and community guide. The application allows each user to find new ideas for reading. These recommendations are based on their literary tastes, which they enter into the application, but also on those of the people they have decided to follow and the Book Weather community.


Bealder: Bealder allows to detect and interact with a visitor who enters and moves in a given place by evaluating very precisely his location to exchange data and information, thanks to iBeacon (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology. Typical customers targeted are physical stores (such as Darty) but also all physical spaces that wish to bring interactivity to visitors.

Datananas is a SaaS software that allows sales representatives to
to save time in the construction of lists of B2B prospects. A plugin installed on the user’s browser allows him to export in one click public profiles from professional social networks. Datananas then finds the direct email of each prospect and verifies it, as well as the phone number of each company. The salesperson can export the list to his CRM in one click. Datananas is starting a marketing phase with some first clients signed in September.


Hellocasa: Hellocasa allows the purchase of home services, mainly small DIY, in a few clicks. The purchase of services, usually calculated on an hourly basis, is abandoned in favour of a price per service calculation.

Holî : Created in 2012, Holî imagines, designs, develops and markets intelligent and connected objects that use light to help people live better. Holî currently offers two products: SmartLamp and SleepCompanion.


Kids-ok: Kids-ok is a web and smartphone application that allows parents to view their children’s activity on all social networks while respecting their privacy and intimacy. Kids-ok alerts parents as soon as a potential danger is spotted (exchanged insults, new suspicious contact, connection at night, etc…). The business model takes the form of a monthly subscription with no commitment, with 3 offers depending on the number of children to protect.


Klubup is a social network specialized on users’ passions. By joining the Klub community, users can create, host and even sponsor Klubs, donate and earn UPs, the UP being the virtual currency used to sponsor their favourite Klubs.

LikeABird Apps

Klub: Twitter contest management tool, the interface allows users to set up a contest based on a hashtag in a few minutes: draw, Follow&RT, Instant-Win, Strip-Tweet, Lottery, Vote. The community manager can file a game rule with a bailiff based on templates adapted to each contest mechanics available and get statistics throughout the contest. Like a Bird Apps is a free tool.
Birdies, a credit system, allow access to advanced features.

Meet My Designer

Meet My Designer: Meet My Designer is a crowdfunding platform that allows you to buy and co-finance ready-to-wear collections from fashion designers. The start-up charges a performance fee on each fully funded project (9%), or a 25% fee on each sale generated on the marketplace.

My Neighborhood

Mon P’ti Voisinage : Mon P’ti Voisinage, a 100% free social network, allows Internet users to carpool, exchange, finance, sell, barter, and help, all within a stone’s throw of their home, thanks to mutual aid between neighbours, and while saving money.


OMMi: OMMi is a real estate advertiser that aims to reinvent the way people rent apartments in large cities. Tenants upload their application online and record a video message to introduce themselves. Advertisers make appointments with applicants online. No more unnecessary visits. OMMi wants to be the Airbnb of long term rental. The site is open to individuals, but also to real estate agencies. The business model is based on a freemium model that concerns advertisers and candidate tenants.


Shippeo: Shippeo is a SaaS, web and mobile platform that brings together qualified transporters, who are invited to provide real-time information on the availability of their vehicles and their prices, and the shippers.


Upfluence: Upfluence allows brands to identify the most relevant influencers (bloggers, facebook, twitter, instagram, vine, etc.) in their industry. Two solutions have been developed: an influencer marketplace, allowing advertisers and influencers to collaborate according to financial considerations in an automated and tracked way, and an influencer search engine, allowing personalized emails to be sent directly to opinion leaders identified as relevant. Both projects are in production, with more than 300 paying clients, including communication agencies (Havas Media, LSF Interactive, Omnicom…), major accounts (Air France, Bouygues Telecom, L’Occitane en Provence, Victorinox…), and web pure-players (The Tops, Envie de Fraises…)


Weeleo : Weeleo connects individuals in order to exchange currencies from hand to hand, at the daily rate and for free.
