The art sales marketplace Lotprivé.com raises 800,000 euros

The start-up is finalizing its first round of financing, with XAnge Private Equity and a business angel.

Lotprivé. com has raised 800,000 euros, including 500,000 from XAnge Private Equity. The start-up offers private sales of art objects. Founded in December 2012 by Vincent Hutin, former chairman of the AGL group and the website, it claims to have several hundred objects sold in 21 countries. The fundraising should enable Lotprivé.com to accelerate its growth by strengthening its teams and continuing to develop its technical infrastructure.

“The sale of art objects on the Internet is growing rapidly and we are positioning ourselves resolutely on an international scale, as this is where our customers naturally evolve,” comments Vincent Hutin, founder and CEO of Lotprivé.com.
